Halò.
’S e riochdaire chruthachail agus neach-obrach ealain coimhearsnachd a th’ annam, às an Òban agus le còrr is 15 bliadhna de dh’eòlas ag obair ann an diofar shuidheachaidhean, an dà chuid an Glaschu agus sa Ghàidhealtachd. Nach toir sibh sùil air na pròiseactan as ùir agam an seo.
Thòisich mi san roinn ealain choimhearsnachd le bhith ag obair còmhla ri fògarraich; an-diugh tha a’ mhòr-chuid den obair agam air a’ Ghàidhealtachd. Tha ceangal làidir nam chuid obrach ri dùthchas agus ri eachdraidh shòisealta, ’s i ag amas air a bhith ag àrachadh cumhachdachadh, fèin-aithne agus dàimhean eadar-phearsanta.
Tha mi a’ creidsinn gur e rud nàdarra, àbhaisteach a th' ann dhuinn a bhith cruthachail, agus ùidh agam ann an àitichean a leasachadh far am b’ urrainn do dhaoine a bhith cruthachail, ge bith dè an ìre de dh’eòlas a th’ aca ann an ealain.
Ann an 2022 chur mi crìoch air MA Art and Social Practice, ‘s mi a’ rannsachadh fèin-aithne Ghàidhealach ann an co-theagsa post-vernacular. Gheibhear tuilleadh fiosrachaidh mun rannsachadh agam an seo.
Eadar 2022-23 bha mi ag obair mar Cùradair nan Ealan Lèirsinneach aig An Tobar and Mull Theatre, agus tha mi an-diugh ag obair gu pàirt-ùine mar Manaidsear na Companaidh aig companaidh tèatar Gàidhlig, Theatre Gu Leòr.

Hello.
I am a creative producer and community arts worker from Oban with over 15 years’ experience working in a range of diverse settings, both in Glasgow and in the Highlands and Islands. Please take a look at my most recent projects here.
I began working in community arts in Glasgow, working with refugee communities; today, I work mainly in the Highlands and Islands. My work has strong links to place and social history, and aims to foster a sense of empowerment, identity and interpersonal connection.
I believe practising art is a natural and ordinary part of being a human being and I’m interested in developing spaces where people can be creative, regardless of what level of arts experience they have.
In 2022 I completed an MA in Art and Social Practice exploring Gàidhealach identity in a post-vernacular context. You can find more information about my ongoing research here.
From 2022-23 I job shared the role of Visual Arts Curator at An Tobar and Mull Theatre, and I currently work part-time as Company Manager for Gaelic theatre company Theatre Gu Leòr.
